I have long admired Donna's flair and panache, but admit I had a real sense of trepidation before working with her on a style consult, wardrobe edit and top-up.

The initial consultation opened my eyes and showed that I am naturally drawn to 'looks' that I would not have historically chosen for myself. The 'edit' identified that some of the things gathering dust at the back of my wardrobe are indeed classics - even if I had only held on to some of them for sentimental reasons. Donna worked with me in a totally supportive and safe way and showed me how I can turn some of these long-held treasures into something I can actually wear and enjoy. Focussing mainly on my winter clothing we identified some obvious gaps in my wardrobe and thankfully Donna did much of the leg-work to help identify where to we could go about filling them.

Shopping for myself is not something I normally enjoy - usually I get in, grab and run for the hills (with a history of making some terrible choices in my haste) but shopping with Donna was actually fun as well as productive. We found a few pieces I would never have purchased previously that I love and most importantly they are getting worn regularly!

The time I spent with Donna has increased my confidence to try new colours, textures and patterns. When shopping I look at those totally overwhelming racks of clothing in a different way and no longer stare into the abyss that is my wardrobe thinking 'I've got nothing to wear'.

Working with Donna was one of the best and most life changing investments ive ever made. Donna made me feel so comfortable in all of our sessions, she helped me understand my style and how to buy for me and make small tweaks that lift my outfits, but the biggest takeaway for me was that I used to feel stressed to get ready to go out and feel really self conscious and anxious that I didn’t really know how to dress, but now each and every day I feel so much more confident in myself and how I dress and how to pick clothes. Thankyou for the fun styling experience you gave me. As someone who dreads shopping and looking at my wardrobe I did not believe it was going to be so much fun.
It was great to learn what "my style” is and to have faith in myself shopping for that style in the future. I have now learned ways to start incorporating colour, instead of only darks, into my wardrobe in a way I feel comfortable wearing it.
My favorite part was going into shops and trying on things that were picked out for me to try on already – so I didn’t have to spend time looking at myself in things that didn’t suit me and feel bad about myself, as is usually my shopping experience.
